You feel that way because the Texans had the ball the whole 3rd Quarter.

The Panthers' Defense only gave up 6 points. They did their job.

They both sucked in the 3rd quarter. Offense sucked at moving the ball and the defense stopped from letting the other team move the ball. D got lucky in only giving up 6 points. Easily could of been 14.

Now that the Texans are back in the game, they'll go out and try to run the offense that worked in the 1st half, and it won't now.
