The Tebow Experiment

It looks to be officially over. Now, they do have one more game next week against former Bronco QB Kyle Orton. If they win that one, they will make the playoffs. Yet I believe they will lose because all Fox is concerned about is running the football. Denver's defense is now suspect, and Kyle Orton looks to take out his revenge on Denver fans by ruining their team's shot at the playoffs. That game will be interesting to watch.

Ultimately, Tim's time in Denver is done, and his chance at being a starting QB may also be done as well. It was fun while it lasted.:(

That game is going to be a real ratings draw. I hope it is showing in my area.

It aint over yet. The Golden Calf of Bristol has earned more time as Broncos QB. Despite the media's overexposure of him and the fact he hasnt beaten a really good team yet, I really like The Golden Calf of Bristol. The kid seems so mild mannered, devout in his faith, and never takes shots back at his haters. He just thanks his maker and acts like he's oblivious to it. The Golden Calf of Bristol is a leader that makes you believe despite his limitations as a passer. To me The Golden Calf of Bristol is like the white Vick, if he drastically improves his passing game he could be that kind of threat for the Broncos.

I honestly would love to see The Golden Calf of Bristol go to the Jaguars, I like the hometown hero story. Yet I don't want to see him in Denver any longer with Fox calling the shots. The Golden Calf of Bristol is an aggressive player, and all this conservative play calling for him is making me nauseous.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.     also why not draft a tackle in the later rounds that we could move to guard or center if they fail, instead of drafting a center? If we draft a center we know they aren’t going to play tackle but if you draft a tackle they could end up playing any of the 3 positions, look at BC for example. It feels like it’s a better decision to draft a tackle in later rounds than a center.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
