I became a Panther fan when I moved to NC from WV, same year the team started play. This is as optimistic as I ever remember being for where the team is headed. One thing to consider, the offense didnt change much. Earhart Perkins, to another variation of that system adapted to Newtons skill set. The Defense however went from a Tampa Two, to the Johnson system with no camp. So the defense had a much larger learning curve. Not to mention injuries, and rookies in the middle.
