Trent is the best since AD who went #7. Even with RB's being valued less and less each year, this guy would be a steal at #9. Of course, I don't want him in a Panther uniform but at least two teams below us (KC at 12 & Cinncy at 17) have RB as a top 2 need. Maybe they want him bad enough to trade up.

Would be the dumbest pick of the Hurney tenure. We have a QB who rushed for 500 yards and double digit TDs. We have a 40 million dollar RB. We have yet another starting caliber RB in Stewart. What the heck would we do with Trent Richardson??? Honestly?

I could see us making that pick, is if we traded Stewart and got some draft picks and filled the holes in our DEF with the 2nd thru 7th rounds.

If I was certain Stew was gone after this season or Deangelo had played horribly this year I wouldn't be against it, however I think the front office considers Stew part of that "core" group of young guys, and would bet money we would get rid of Deangelo before losing Stew.

Unfortunately it's just not really in the cards for us to take him, although I do think he is going to be a hell of a player.
