I'm afraid you may be a little confused about the nature of the free agent player's primary concern.

We are not interested in WR's in FA...Smitty, LaFell, Gettis, Pilares/Naane are just fine.

We have much bigger needs to spend in FA than another WR.

Outside of VJ and Marshall, the other FA's that were signed are NOT upgrades to what we have.

Early Doucet: Talented, but never as productive as you'd think.

Eric Weems: A returner that could take Edwards spot and actually return.

Chaz Schilens: Good deep speed, but injury concerns.

Donnie Avery: Has been effective prior to injuries

Hines Ward: Sign a player that has name recognition so dumb people shut up.

Michael Spurlock: I think he does documentaries.

Jerricho Cotchery: Went to State. Actually pretty good at times.

Tedd Ginn: See Eric Weems.
