It's inevitable and I for one will be glad to finally see a Panther on the cover. I wasn't sure if the day would ever come and being on the cover means the Panthers will get a little extra-special treatment in the game.

Good news: curses only exist if you believe in them and I doubt Cam is the kind of guy that believes in such foolishness.

If you say. Seems that every person that has been on the cover of it has had something to happen in one way or another.:frown2:

I think the one good thing about it is that he can decline if he wins. But I doubt he would do it. Hoping he doesn't win it. If he does and get on it. Then our season could be down the drain before it begins. Believe in the curse or not. It happens.

That's actually not true... one example would be Larry Fitzgerald, he made the pro-bowl the year he graced the cover.

Drew Brees and Ray Lewis also had good seasons after gracing the cover.

I don't understand how adults can but into this superstitious crap? It's fun to talk about, but does anyone over the age of 12 actually believe this is real?

Ray Lewis was on the cover of Madden 05. In 2005, Ray Lewis got hurt and only played 6 games

Drew Brees was on the cover of Madden 11. In 2011, the Saints got knocked out of the first round of the 2010 playoffs after being heavily favored.

      Although, I will admit there is a big caveat to this game. Packers coming off an emotionally big game against Rodgers on the road in Primetime and a MNF matchup with the Eagles the following week, it is a prime opportunity for a let down game with them looking ahead. Which if it's the case, I think we still lose, but only something like 24-21.

      We lose in a non competitive game 38-20. Bryce doesn't look much better than Dalton did and all the people this week saying "see we told you he's great, look how bad this team is without Bryce" blame it on the OL injuries and/or his ankle and already start laying the groundwork for that being why he is still one of the worst starting QB's the rest of the season and why he deserves another year, if not even an outright extension. And no, that's not what I'm rooting for, just what I objectively think will happen, just as I've been saying for a month would happen once we got past the cupcake portion of the schedule.

      Miami will be their first real test. Even a close loss and I would be content with that at this point. Brandon Miller is probably gonna be out a few weeks with a partial shoulder dislocation. With that being said, the rookies are really impressing me.
