I liked this kid since last year.

To me, of he's there in the fourth, you got to take him. That's me though.

And I think someone will draft this kid before the 6th round.

i think someone will probably take him before then, but they'll be drafting a headache that they'll probably be kicking themselves over for a couple years. some team will probably benefit for a year...maybe two...but it will only be a matter of time before his bad habits and attitudes get the better of him and he becomes more a liability than anything.

Considering round five and later are often just depth, ST, and guys that get cut after a few years of not being able to crack the starting lineup, I might take him at the 5th or 6th. Problem is 5th and 6th round linebackers can usually contribute on special teams until they crack the starting lineup due to injury, circumstance, etc., and I don't see Burfict doing any special teams work, so he's essentially a wasted roster spot on a prayer that he isn't completely useless, which is a long shot.

good point. he's going to have to be a guy that has to prove himself by playing whatever role his coaches ask him to play whether backup or on STs and i think that he's going to be someone who thinks that he's above that and won't play along. that's probably the mindset that most teams have of him as well and it's going to be up to him to prove otherwise. i just don't think he feels he needs to so he won't.

He'll be able to choose the best situation for him and develop for a few years.

He was hurt at the combine but the dude needs to get his poo together.

He also doesn't know how to play the game apparently, just run fast and hit hard

fixed a little.

if he's a udfa then, yeah, he'll be able to choose the best situation for him.

it's going to be tough for him to overcome the damage he's done to himself. i just don't know that he's going to be willing to get his poo together or feels a need to. he seems like a guy who would think it's everyone else's fault they are seeing that or that they can't/won't accept him as he is.

After thinking about it again for a while, no, I still wouldn't want him.

same here. the more i consider it, the less i want him around.

there's people who are maybe not as talented but want it more than he does who will be available that i'd rather have wearing the blue and black.
