Texas Olb Keenan Robinson Visits Panthers

Sounds like a good get in the middle rounds. Coming from Texas, I have no doubt he could work his way up to being a quality starter eventually. Sounds like he's another upgrade in overall depth and quality as a rookie though, especially considering he can play ST as well.

I still really wish we could get Zach Brown but, I don't see anyway that works out in the 1st or him dropping to the 2nd. Quick, someone leak that he smoked the cheeba.

I'd dig this pick. No offense to Kuechly, but I think there is more value to this pick than him.

I believe I read somewhere that every starting OLB in 4-3 defenses in the NFL was drafted in the 3rd round or later. TD was drafted as a Safety so IDK if that counts or not.

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
