Beason Lookin Strong

Bc it was said that the video doesn't prove much.....so the homer reaction was to paint it as Luke love wanting Beason not to comeback. Yeah, I want Luke......on the field with Beason. In the new scheme there is room for both and it will make us better.

What about in nickel and dime packages??

That's it the next thread started about % of not coming back from a achilles injury and Demco Ryans. OP meet me infront of the BOA to get smacked for not trusting THe Beast. (JK) I told you Dude was going hard and looked better then he did before the injury.

I'm so Hype right now. J Stew look Beastly as well.

Honestly that video showed very little really. Unless you saw how he looked before the injury versus after and you have some times to see how he is progressing, it is hard to tell hows he compares to pre-injury.. You can get as hyped as you want but at this point his recovery a work in progress. Honestly he did very little lateral work or demonstrated much explosiveness. I hope he is fine and comes back 100%, any panther fan would, but at this point that video showed little other than the surgery went well and he is working hard to rehab it.

The point of bringing Kuechly in is that it is unlikely that Beason and Davis will both make it back 100%. If either goes down it leaves a huge hole. I don't see how one video which was about as informative as a highlight reel changes anything. Until the pads come out and we start playing ball, you won't know where they are at. If I remember correctly Davis looked good in game 1 of the season, problem was game 2.

Let me start off by saying BEASON IS MY FAV PLAYER ON OUR SQUAD.........but lets put this into perspective. The guy tore his achilles tendon! For anyone to watch this video and say that "Beason is back" is ludicrous and damn near retarded!

Is the guy a freak athlete? Yes.

Does he look great from the video? Yes (as much as any other NFL player doing situational drills).

Is he working as hard as he can to come back? Yes.

Does that show me anything to say "he's back"? NO!

In that video was he pursuing another athlete and making plays? NO

Is there a large statistic sayin he will not be the same? YES.

Do I r-e-s-p-e-c-t the ish out of the man? YES.

People on here saying he is back is just wishful thinking. I hope to GOD that he does because he IS the best MLB in the game right now IMO, but what he suffered last season was a HUGE injury. The guy does look phenomenal, but it shows us nothing but he can run and do drills on his ankle. The only way i will say he is back and I can stop worrying about our LB core is the day when he plays a full season with another 100 plus tackle season. Until then I say draft LB 's all day you can never have too many. :)

    • Yeah. Probably will be close. I am not rooting for anyone don’t really care that much.   Same for the AFC game, don’t really care. Except it is Sean Payton, I always like it when he loses.  But it’s New England, I can’t root for them. It’s going to be 23 degrees at kickoff in Denver, wind will 12-15mph, dropping to 13 degrees by 7pm with snow predicted to start before halftime.
    • Most people will agree with this in principle. But it's situational and also depends on the results you're getting. We were middle of the league in sacks given up. Had the 27th passing offense. And if a few instances that went our way turned out differently we very likely could have been staring at another 5 win season. For the highest salary cap percentage to the OL in the entire league. While we had basically nothing at linebacker and not much at all consistent pass rush to speak of as we were leaning on two rookies. And despite all that our defense which has been on a lopsided end of investment compared to the offense managed to go from league worst and giving up historic single season points in 2024 to middle of the league in 2025 which is quite impressive all things considered. So yes the investment in the OL versus the results certainly matters or at least to should to anyone that would like to continue to improve and also maybe finally win another playoff game.
    • Still think that if Carson Beck is there on Day 3 you have to take him. QB depth in drafts has been atrocious as of late but what he is good at translates very well to what the Panthers need a QB to do.
