Our Quarterback Could Beat Your Quarterback At Poetry Any Day Of The Week

looks like cammy cam is quite the renaissance man. He wrote this poem and delivered it at the Auburn statue unveiling:

365 days, that was my tenure,

But for some strange reason it felt like I’ve always been here.

All the blood, sweat and tears it took to get this

I’ll always honor and cherish this.

My road to the top had a couple pit stops

But during my time at Auburn, the love of the Auburn family would not let my morale drop.

Greatness was what I strived for and greatness is what I got

The mentality of the Auburn man took me to the top.

Some people will never understand the feeling of what it means to be an Auburn man

But I’m lucky enough to be able to raise my right hand and be able to say, “I can.”

My time at Auburn, I don’t know if it could have been any better

Man, it was great.

We won an SEC title, a national championship

And, oh yeah, we beat that team, 27-28.

As a wise man (Gene Chizik) once said, “This place,” as in Auburn “was great before you were thought of.”

And this place is where I will always love

So as I share this day with two of Auburn’s beloved

I want to end by saying “War Eagle” and “I believe in Auburn and love it.”

Seriously what other quarterback in the NFL could pull this off? Cam is literally dripping with swag.

    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
    • I mean as far as his size goes it's all over his tape bouncing up and down on his toes in and around the pocket trying to see the field and defenses know this as well as we do but if folks here want to live in never never land and pretend it's not a thing that's their prerogative. Even our head coach has made it a key focal point to get his footwork under control. But it's still something Bryce is going to be tested on early and often no matter how many keystrokes anyone here commits to the narrative it isn't an issue.
    • It speaks volumes that when asked to define a clear performance threshold the responses instead fixate on Bryce's size. It reinforces what’s been clear for a while now... that for some, it has never been nor will it ever be about production. Any struggles will always be chalked up to his frame, and any strong play will be downplayed or disqualified via highly mobile goalposts.
