Report: Panthers To Take Blackmon If He Falls To 9....

I think this actually has a good shot at happening. The key is going to be the Rams, Jags, and Dolphins. If the Rams take Cox as many have suggested, the Jags have been said to have Blackmon rated equal with Kendall Wright so they may not like him as much as other players like Gilmore/Ingram. Then the Dolphins take Ryan Tannehill and Blackmon is a Panther.

Best case would be the Vikings taking Claiborne and a surprise pick from the Bucs that allows Kalil to slip to the Rams.

^ I think MGH was making a joke.

More referring to the fact that The CO felt this was some kind of breaking news. I think every team, fan, hell maybe cheerleader in the NFL knows that if the Panthers can get Cam the best WR in the draft at #9 they'll do it....

Yayyy overrated big 12 prospects!! We lose again!

I think he will be slightly better than Crabtree and he seems like a great individual...has good talent.. But I really wish he could run faster or be 6'2 at least.

Of all the teams in the league, we should be the least concerned with the size of a receiver. If he has a good head on his shoulders and is hungry to be successful, he will be a good one.

He might not be the best of athletes but he is crafty and creates separation in other ways. He is a smart football player. You don't always have to have the best measurable to be a good football player.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
