Panthers Trade Predictions.

Post your Panther's trade predictions/hopes. And why you think it would be a good idea to both teams.

My idea:

Since Mark Barron has become the hottest name this week, and his stock seems to be at an all time high. The Cowboy's have no hidden their interest in Alabama safety Mark Barron. He is now being mocked to Buffalo at #10.

I am now thinking the Cowboys could almost ensure getting Barron by trading with us.

Simple as the Cowboys sending #14 overall and #45 to us for #9.

They get their boy, and we stock up on picks, possibly still allowing us to draft, Coples, Gilmore, Brockers, Kuecs.

Thoughts?

Anyone else with a trade prediction?

Anyone think the Jets will want to make a move.?

We have a history with those peeps and draft trading.

Rumor is Jets would be interested in targeting Richardson and dealing w/ a team picking before us

Let me preface this by saying if Blackmon somehow falls to 9 we won't be trading. However, I don't expect that to happen and I think the Panthers number one option all along barring one of the top players falling was to trade down. Even if Fletcher Cox is on the board I expect them to make some calls to the Eagles and Cowboys. I see those two as being the most likely trade partners, along with an outside chance from the Jets for a guy like Ingram.

I would do the #9 and our fifth, for a first and second from any of these three teams.

    • Fishy: 78 P; Svech: 67 P; Jarvy: 66 P; Fly: 65 P; Blakey: 49 P; Ghosty: 47 P: Hallsy: 44 P This team could end up with an 80P guy, 2 70P guys and 3 50P guys when it's all said and done.
    • Seven North Carolina players have entered the transfer portal or announced their intentions to enter so far today: Derek Dixon (6.5 PPG) Jonathan Powell (4.8 PPG) Kyan Evans (4.0 PPG) Zayden High (3.4 PPG) Isaiah Denis (1.9 PPG) Jaydon Young (1.8 PPG) James Brown (1.2 PPG)
    • As long as we have DB, odd man fronts are the way to go for us. We want to line DB up between the guard and tackle (4i-tech) because of how quick he is off the snap and his punch on the guard off the snap. If anyone is wondering why he pretty much has to be doubled (or combo blocked) just about every snap, its because he is lined up in that spot in our odd man front. If we change to an even front, it becomes a lot harder to have DB play the 4i-tech.  Not sure if I would say Evero likes smaller NTs - I wouldn't call Bobby Brown a small NT by any sense. I think we run a 1-tech NT, so they are usually getting double teamed (or combo blocked) by concept alone. I actually think Bobby Brown did a pretty good job of eating blocks and being positionally sound on most runs at him (not his fault we were rocking ass LBs last year + Wharton being god awful). The bigger problem came on the toss plays/outside runs where DB wasn't able to blow it up in the backfield (i.e., the Bills game). Lloyd should help with the run D and getting a rangy LB in the draft will definitely help. There are also some good 1-tech DTs (and 0-techs) that can be instant day 1 starters for us in the draft.
