Heaven forbid we have an injury to one of the 3 WR's we believe will have an impact this year (Smith, LaFell, Gettis) it would be nice knowing we had a reliable Plax in the wings... I don't really see any cons to a one year deal.

I dont think Plax's age or contract demands would be the issue with bringing him in but his prison time is. We run a classy program here and jail time just doesn't fit with the Panther's image.

I also just don't see room for him. Smith Lafell and Gettis are locks for 1-2-3 and I think we all wanna see what Pilares and Adams can bring to the table outside of special teams play, no need to bury them further. If Lafell was hit with an injury, I'd sign him in a heartbeat because he's our only real goal line possession receiver (not that we need that though, we have the biggest goal line threat in football history, and it's our freaking quarterback).
