I see a trend here. My parents brought me up as a Dolphins fan. I switched when Panthers were announced. Never grew attached to Dolphins ike I have with Panthers.

Oddly we never lived in either Florida or Carolinas. Always south central PA. Luckily my parents were smart enough not to be Steeler or Eagles fans.

It's great seeing your son establish his own opinions, but I've never read all that much into family fandoms. My dad hates all sports; imagine how he feels when I try to talk Panthers with him, lol.

Why can't he like both? Panthers in the NFC, Phins in the AFC. Ain't nothing wrong with having a team in each conference as long as you know where your true loyalties lie when they play each other.
