Another reason I hate TWC (Panthers related)...

So I'm not going to be at home for the start of the game Saturday, and I went last night to set the DVR. Panther TV in my area is ABC WTVD 11. I flip to Saturday at 7 PM and it shows Jeapordy.

As it turns out, TWC doesn't update the listing for some reason. They have the Panthers Wofford Camp Report or some such show as that an hour or two before, but nada for the game either online or their DVR.

I guess I'm going to have to just set the DVR to record Jeopardy and have it extend like 3 hours, lol.

TWC sucks so hard.

This is just a heads up to anyone in a similar situation.

The fact they are still bickering with NFL Network because they want to overcharge for it, going on 4-5+ years now, is enough to know TWC sucks. Plus apparently this year NFL stunday ticket is free on DirecTV? Might be time for a change.

TWC does suck but the free sunday ticket will be auto charged on your bill next year for full price (400-600)even if you did not want it. You have to see the bill with the fine print and call to cancel..

DTV loves to hit you up for charges and rarely will work with you on them either.

I went and got TWC again for some unknown reason and its not bad..i do have the digital tier HD-DVR 3 additional boxes with the same programming, HBO and Turbo internet for 104.00 with tax so its not too bad. Prices are locked for 2 years and no contract(so this deal can be had by anyone!).

Hint just do not call...you have to go to the local billing center and ask to speak with a retention specialist...boom! The call center employees have numbers to meet so if they are too low(aka help you out)they get low bonuses and fired.

My biggest gripe outside of NFL network is that my cable boxes do not seem to support HDMI cables so my screen pops...goes blue...no signal..and it is the boxes as I swapped out cables and used other devices on my TV that all work flawlessly. The boxes are all new and all of them do it...component cables it is then.. Awful.

No NFL- HDMI support is spotty- I know my bill will magically be wrong.. So.a dish is in my near future but Dish does not have AMC/IFC which is a huge problem too.

DTV is not my fave so im waiting this one out.

really this is one of my favorite IRL cheat codes and it seems to not matter which cable company you're dealing with. i paid super low intro rates when i was with charter for 4 years this way.

I don't have this problem. Two different boxes on upstairs and downstairs tvs, and both use HDMI.

The game is listed here in CLT on TWC on channel WCCB. You may be outside of what they consider a truly local market and the only way to watch it is on the NFL Network.

The NFL network has some exemptions in place for showing it locally if it is sold out.

IIRC
