I like how we have one bad preseason game & people are ready to jump off bridges. Then we have a good game this weekend & everyone is back on the "Super Bowl" bandwagon. I have a feeling the NY Jets game will not be as easy as we all (some) assume. Plus in the real scheme of things winning or losing in the preseason does not mean much, as it is more about finding the best guys that fit our plans. Sure I WANT us to win but I will not be upset if we lose. I just want us to get through it & find those key players.

Watching The Jets game last night was rough. The Golden Calf of Bristol doesn't go through his progressions worth a damn. He's awful. That pick 6 from Sanchize was even better. Shonnon Greene hasn't progressed since his rookie season as well. Their offense is completely fuged. Also, I named Shonn Shannon because he runs like a bitch.

Their talents are also enhanced by the strength of their DL unit....place any of them alone on a less than stellar squad and you might see a different result. Not saying they wouldn't still stand out, but maybe their effectiveness would be diminished.

      I’m really having a hard time understanding how this actually went down. -Renfrow expected to make roster as 2nd/3rd string. -Panthers cut Renfrow; Keep Brycen Tremayne, and add UDFA receiver (Dalevon Campbell) to active roster.  -Canales/Morgan say it’s totally up to Hunter whether he wants to come back or not, they would love to have him.    -Renfrow not signed to PS -Panthers trade Adam Thielen -Hunter Renfrow signed to active roster with a raise after an injury to Coker nobody heard about and is likely to start.    Our WR room is now: -Xavier Legette (2024 1st round pick) -Tet McMillan (2025 1st round pick) -Hunter Renfrow (1 year out of the league) -David Moore (Canales’ friend? A guy way past his prime) -Jimmy Horn (Likely a Shi Smith reprint, but has potential 2025 6th round pick, weighs 174 lbs) -Brycen Tremayne (2023 UDFA who was on Washington’s PS for 2 years and caught 1 pass for -2 yards and averaged 300 yards per year at Stanford) -Dalevon Campbell (2025 UDFA had a good preseason but had 1463 yards and 3 TDs over 5 college seasons at 3 different schools). What the hell is going on?

      Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.
