What would it take for you to stop being a Panthers fan?

I hear all the time about the growth of Raleigh. I wonder what folks in NC would do if Raleigh got a team. Lol that would be a funny and tough situation. I think the thrill of a new franchise, closer to the crib would be enough for me to roll with the newer team. I think the ultimate deciding factor for me would be Cam. Ive been a Panther fan since I was 10(the 2000 season), but it aint no secret that im a huge Cam fan. If he's gone, then it would make the move to a newer franchise easier. It would never happen, but would be a funny situation.

Would it take a playoff drought like the Buffalo Bills are enduring? (I think it's up to 13 years at this point).

Would it take the team somehow botching Cam Newton staying in Carolina for his whole career?

Would it take the team moving to a different city?

Or would you stay a fan no matter what happened?

Because of the belief that one day this franchise is going to have an owner motivated enough to demand a higher standard which will resonate throughout the franchise on every single level. I'm sure Jerry "wants to win" just like pantherclaw wants to live in something better than a shanty town. The real question is just how relentless he is in his pursuit to make this team prestigious. Jerry is a good business owner and a mediocre team owner. As a business the Panthers are thriving, but as a team they are pathetic.

Without that constant reminder that teams eventually do rise after years and years of bad leadership, you'll really question whether or not this is the right team for you.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
