Wow if Zod is saying this season is shot than it really must be over...

It really doesn't look like Rivera is the guy that will get us a Lombardi trophy. I hope they do something fast because this team DOES have talent.

We are one more top 10 pick away from the promise land...

Wasnt it a short 5 weeks ago that the Zod character was predicting us to go 12- 4 ?

Looking at the schedule as of today I don't see them finishing above 5-11 if they keep this up.

Hurney and Rivera should be gone if that is the case, but I'm not sure they will.

I love the defensive rookies right now. Norman is beaten sometimes but I don't think QBs are going to be throwing at him much longer. Once he learns how to defend receivers as well as the sneaky throws NFL QBs make he'll be fine. I'm really excited for Frank Alexander and Charles Johnson on the edge.

I really hope I can say that Hurney's last draft was a very good one. If they can add a talented FS and a DT this defense could be top 15 by next year.

I gotta tell you guys unless Rivera starts to realize the error in his ways(which his press conferences lends me to believe he does not) then we are fuged no matter who the GM is. I could care less if we fire Hurney now because he hired Rivera. I just want a brand new coaching staff and if that means a new GM too then so be it.

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
