Gotta go Jarvis Jones if he comes out. Hes the next DeMarcus Ware and next to Kuechly will make our front 7 so much better.

Cowher wants full control, give him full control, pay him whatever he wants. The only way to save Cam at this point is to get a proven head coach who wants to help Cam and turn him into a superstar.

We're going to have to get a coach and GM whose willing to risk their reputation/career on Cam Newton. Most new coaches and GMs I expect would want to come in and get their own guys and that won't happen here I don't think. I expect the coaches/gms the fans want will turn us down because Cam is a huge risk and we will be stuck with our fourth or fifth choice for GM and coach. I wouldn't be shocked if its a Greg Schiano out of nowhere type hire which could be a good or a bad thing.

had no idea people still wanted gruden here.

yeah he seems like a positive high energy guy on monday night football but it's pretty well acknowledged that his players were fed up with him in tampa. remember how he handled the QB position over his last few years? bring in like 20 washed up vets and whoever survives gets the job? he didn't win a playoff game after the super bowl in 2002 and was at the wheel for the horrific late season collapse in 2008.

One that's not mentioned a lot for a head coach possibility is Winston Moss of the Packers

Other potential HCs: Vic Fangio, Ray Horton, Keith Butler, Greg Roman & Gus Bradley

If I had to choose right now:

GM: Caserio

HC: Keith Butler

Draft Picks: Sam Montgomery & Terrance Williams

Srsly?

The only people that think Cam is a huge risk are the Colin Cowherd/Scott Van Pelt media talking head idiots.

GM/coaches will want to come here BECAUSE of Cam and his astronomical ceiling.

You draft BPA (minus QB obviously), and Jones is the BPA and would help our defense more than that DT would.

We've picked either a RB or a LB in the first an absurd amount of times during Hurney's tenure.

We'd be looking at fielding three 1st round picks at LB and 2 at RB. Two positions that are probably the easiest to fill via FA.

I see what you're saying, but No. NoNoNoNo.

    • It is like when you go to da buffet at da Golden Corral and dey have all dis food and you get the same thing every time.   There is probably something you would like more, but you go to da same ol racks and get da same ol food every time.  Not sure why I am writing in trailer park dialect, but hey, watcha gonna dooo.
    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
