Deangelo Williams a free agent afte this season

With Goodson, Stewart, and who knows who else might emerge from training camp (Lee?) Does anyone think the Panthers might be preparing for Williams' departure after this season? Is there any chance we get to keep him?

I would really hate to see Williams go, as he's my favorite Panther, but I could understand the team tagging and trading him given the apparent talent we have behind him. It would be such a sad day, though.

he is to the panthers going forward what smitty has been to the panthers for the past 6 years. no way are they going to let him go. i don't see them letting stewart go either. i do think that they are preparing for "just in case" but i'm still not counting on it. he's emotionally stable and pretty easy going. the williams/stewart combo is going to be a round for a long time.
