The fridge was not my choice. My wife to be wanted the best thing lol...

Funny thing is... My brother in law and best buy cfo are buddies but I will not bother him over this nonsense. I will write an email to best buy tho.

You should include the reaction of your "friends" (posters here...only a little stretch) that said you were a fool for buying those things from BB. Hit them hard.

Never buy anything but TV's, movies, and games from Bestbuy.

what? why?

now sometimes you can catch a decent deal at bestbuy.com, but in store, you pay more, get worse service, and there's some goofball at the door wanting to put his mitts on your new property.

i only go to bestbuy for small things that i might need right away, static-free dust cloths for example, or.......

i really can't think of anything else.

Well don't buy anything if you know that you already want it. But movies and games are ok to buy on a whim, and the only reason I said TV's is because you can find some really awesome open box deals sometimes.

I got a 55 inch Samsung Smart TV LED LCD that retails for around 2500 for about 650 bucks after all the discounts available that day - for instance.

i tried the open box discount thing once for a TV and they'd only take 10% off. i don't remember what that model was selling for at the time (2010) but i know i got it at roughly a little over half BB's price about two weeks later. (and unopened) i think BB's price was around $2600 and i got it for about $1450, but again, i'm not sure exactly what it was going for at the time

i'm also a bit of a cheapskate. i usually don't buy on a whim, even movies or games. for example i only go to redbox when i get that free rental text once a month.

inetvideo used to be a good place to get blu-ray movies, but their deals are crap now. i got spoiled buying both HD-DVDs and Blu-Rays for like $1 each before either caught on

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
