Best loss of the season...Why?

Simply quoting the prior post:

"...and padded his stats to make us even more attractive..."

and you wouldn't call that being a stat wh0re?

No. If we were leading by 21 & he was still slinging it down the field, that would be stat whoreish. Adding to his stats because you have a shot to win is doing his job.

Oh, okay, I get it...

You're justifying why losing is good, but I'm outta line... okay, cool. Gotcha now, I understand.

Morons, keep trying to convince yourselves why you're right, maybe you'll start believing yourselves soon also.

Actually all I was doing was replying to a dumb post suggesting Cam was being a stat ***** when he was trying to win a two possession game....

Cam played well and didnt turn the ball over... this translates into him being a stat *****? some of you guys are crazy

when Cam puts up good numbers he is a stat *****, and when he doesnt he's a unproductive bum...

no loss is a good loss, but I agree with the OP, this was the best loss

Go Panthers!

Actually, All I was doing was replying to a dumb post suggesting this loss was good because Cam padded his stats and made the organization "attractive" to potential GMs and HCs....

Yeah, the loss sucked. No loss is good. I hate losing. But the silver lining is Kuechly played like the monster he is, as did Cam. Makes this job more desirable. That's all I think anybody is trying to say. I wanted this win pretty damn bad, it just didn't happen. Next season is what I'm looking forward to. This season is done. I'm rooting for good production. I want to win, but I'm not getting completely down over losses like I did the first half of the season. Not until next season, anyway.

I'm an Auburn fan... I've become quite enured to losing this year. :(

And yet you called Cam a stat *****.....

and what do you call someone who "pads his stats..." (quoting from the previous)? Mind you, no mention was made of an effort to win the game. "Padding his stats" was all that was said, so don't try to infer anything that wasn't stated by the poster.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
