Not sure if this has been mentioned, and technically its not Panthers related, but I know there are a few here that would like to see Jon Gruden as a HC here...

I think our team would be better the day this guy walked through the door. Gruden or Cowher would not take any bull and would know exactly what to do with very little lag time.

The players don't have to like Chucky but they better respect him. Gruden has done well with average QB's. I'd like to see him with Cam. Like him or not, the guy is a talented coach.

Am I the only one who does not understand this love affair that some of our fans have with Gruden?

The guys best claim to fame is a Super Bowl that he won with Tony Dungy's team. A team that probably half the coaches in the NFL could have won a Super Bowl with. What am I missing?

      FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.

      That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

      Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
