Notes

- Watched Saint's game in bar. Doesn't have cable lollll love the Kraken. No one noticed him.

- On Rivera - "I love the guy. Says he believes in me sat me down after motorcycle accident and told me what's what. Respects him as a former player."

- On Falcon's game - "*giggles* Wanted to motivate. Says we had more potential. Shocked that kicker was talking smack laughs at his amoeba shaped body."

- Kraken nickname came his sophmore year of football. Says it fits his personality.

- Pro Bowl is brought up. "I'm better looking than CJ LOLLLLLLLL, doesn't take it personal. But next year he wants to go all out and not even make it a contest."

- Basketball challenge to JP & JPP - "Waiting for a response, been going to the gym don't be scared."

Favorite basketball player Lebron James Favorite football player Barry Sanders.

On Bball - "I gots hops."

On next season - We're better everywhere. Coaches, players, Cam, defense, 3 or 4 great RB's, calls Smitty HOF.

When CJ got his sacks went nuts in bar and scared people. Loved watching the Panthers "kick the crap out of the Saints."

In spare time watches NETFLIX.

Watch in case I missed anything. Brandon Lafell next week.

    • I think we have some revisionist around it here because of all the drama around Tepper's involvement. If you pull up any scouting report from the time you'll see the same take. WalterFootball's report sums up the media's thoughts on him well: "Young has everything the NFL is looking for in a quarterback except in terms of weight and height." He was the consensus top QB of his draft and the only real question mark they had about him was whether his body could hold up in the NFL. The infamous Steph Curry comparison the Panthers latched onto came from Albert Breer. The excuses I've heard for him are more anecdotal. Bryce Young's development is the only bullet point most NFL fans have on the Panthers right now. That and the coaching turnover. If you're not actually watching our games it's easy to believe this is just a dysfunctional organization that doesn't know how to unleash this talented Heisman winner.  I've seen media and fans alike run with that narrative way more than criticizing Young outright. Whenever we win there's flocks who use it as proof that the Panthers just need to be patient.
    • So maybe 1-3 vs playoff teams, going by standings as of today. I guess that is an improvement.  We are just about improved enough to be in purgatory draft wise. It really isn’t so bad in the 1st unless you really want that top QB or maybe edge guy because there are usually plenty of good players at the top but it hurts you some as get deeper in the draft.
