hey say what you want about that guy's mental state but all I see is a die-hard fan, not one of those flaky ass bandwagoners, and tell that kid to sack up and stop being such a whiny poo because when I was young my father used to choke me with bungee cord for forgetting to take out the trash KIDS THESE DAYS ARE SO GODDAMNED SPOILED AND MOLLYCODDLED I SWEAR TO GOD

Hit wrong rep button....sry

I used to get pretty upset over Panther football and UNC basketball. I don't have any kids so my dogs are my defacto kids. And one time I got pissed and screamed at the TV and punched the door. My dogs wouldn't even come near me for like 2 days and my wife was pissed I broke the door.

Ever since then I try to be very zen like during the game. Try to control those emotions. The Falcons game this year really tested me.

Now I wait until the game is over. Quietly excuse myself, and go outside and chop some wood or demolish something to get out those emotions.

I swear that my life would be about 70% less stressful if I just didn't give a poo about sports.

Bahaha, i was downtown ATL yesterday, first time in my life in ATL. I Went to the bar STATS which wasn't bad at all, even though my bill was supposed to be 30 bucks the cool bartender who was a lions fan only charged me 20. Anyways, watching the game, not giving a fug if they win or lose. If they win I get to enjoy slutty celebrating chicks, if they lose fug yes. Anyways, time comes for the 4th and 5 conversion and I turn around and watch the entire bar and the sadness was glorious.

I could have took my tongue and licked all the tears from everyone eyes and had the biggest poo eating grin the entire time. I'm not one to rub it in anyones face aside from imagining doing so and because I had met 2 hot Falcons fans besides me who I was chatting up the entire game (and both chicka's knew their football) but luckily the only 49ner fan in the bar did that for me and came to find out one of the girls I was chatting up actually was thinking of moving to Wilmington which is where I live, crazy.

Anyways, night cometh and its time to go out, and the true Falcon fan's, all 3 of them in the city, were sadness drinking which was also glorious to watch, but in all honesty, at night the people who were out could careless and EVERY single person during the game and after were commenting how the Falcants were going to disappoint them, even before the game someone said it as a huge group of Falcons fans I had somehow merged with in pedestrian traffic walked by, they all look at each other bewildered and look back at me and I'm laughing my ass off not giving 2 shits what the guy said. But I will credit that there were a vast minority of 49ner's fans which would not be the case had the game happened in Charlotte.

    • okay I found this and it sounds like my hopes for the first surgery being not such a great job seems like it could be actual reality.  I only hoped because that would give a better chance for recovery and ia a possible scenario so I just thought it could be possible. Had no real evidence of it. But I’ll be damned.    This is a detailed report of Brooks’ surgery and the condition of his knee after the failed repair.     https://x.com/jmthrivept/status/2055743129408704806?s= Sparked by some very good questions by @CoachspeakIndex, here’s some info on Jonathon Brooks: 1. Speculation that the first graft/ACLR by Dr. Cooper didn’t “take” or at least was too lax, leading to failure and re-tear. Brooks dealt with issues cutting, progressing in his rehab into the early stages of 2024 and then re-tore it late 2024, requiring a second ACLR in January 2025 (essentially revision). Notably, CAR prolonged Brooks’ rehab process through Sept-Oct due to issues progressing into the next stages of rehab. 2. Second surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has extensive experience with revisions. He did a double bundle technique, harvesting graft from Brooks’ left patellar tendon and a strip of his right IT Band (his right patellar tendon had been utilized for the prior graft in 2023. The double bundle technique significantly increases rotational stability of the knee, leading to a stronger and more secure graft/reconstruction. Also to note, Brooks’ surgery wasn’t significantly delayed, meaning that the tunnels from his prior ACLR were in good shape and they didn’t need to perform bone grafts to fill in (would have delayed 2nd surgery by 5-6 months). Essentially, reading the tea leaves tells me that everything else except for the graft itself was still in good quality within his knee. Good sign for future.  3. Typically, you see a performance increase anywhere from 16-20 months post-revision. Brooks will be ~21 months out from his second surgery by the time Week 1 hits. His knee should be more stable and stronger this time around, with adequate time for healing and return to all movement patterns. I’m not viewing this situation as a typical “Player __ had TWO ACL tears, he’s cooked” situation. Rather, I’m viewing it as the first procedure failed, but the second procedure is significantly stronger and should allow him to return to form this time around. I don’t know why it posted as a link but there it is.
    • Jackie, any more reps tomorrow, or is that it for this session?  thanks for the work
    • How can you say they aren’t trying to win now with all the moves made in free agency? Or is trading first round picks the only way to be win now? I’d be fine never trading another first round pick again, win now be damned.
