Game day music

Guys (or gals),

I am looking for suggestions on music to play for games. I would like suggestions for game time situations as we will having more music then ever being played at games. After a 1st down or a big run or catch. A sack or big stop on defense. In between plays, taking the field, etc. Great words that pump up the crowd to a powerful part of a song.

I ask that you take into consideration that it has to be played in front of families and kids. In saying that, it can be just a rocking part of a song or just the music (intrumental). Example: Marilyn Manson "Beautiful people", the intro 40 seconds is rocking. Great for a kick off. "Stand up" by Ludacris, just a 25 second part of the chorus. I've played "work hard, play hard" as an instrumental only.

You all get the idea. The Panthers and the NFL are trying to make the game day experience better for the fan, so I would love your input.

Thx, Vinny

It's for real. Can't play a song for TD's as that's preset. I get players input for warm up music but they really don't hear the music during the game (why we have a row of speakers in their end zone during warm ups). The music is more for the fans. I try to have some variety in a game (atleast 1 older/classic, 1 country, a dance song or 2 for the dance for your dianmands part, etc). Most rock (new or older) and current.

soundgarden rusty cage or outshine get me pumped...I always thought the first 40 seconds of outshined would be a good one

All I listen to is heavy metal but this is the 'family friendly' stuff I;d like to hear...family friendly hip hop is usually bad IMO

Open Your Eyes - Alter Bridge

Undead - Hollywood Undead

Thunder Bay - Hudson Mohawke

Let's Roll - Kid Rock

Rise Above This - Seether

Show Goes On - Lupe Fiasco (Pretty much Cam Newton's song)

We In Here - DMX (Maybe just beggining or instrumental)

Pop That - French Montana (instrumental or clean)

Listen to these when I warm up for my games, gets be pumped and can also be enjoyed by others

Ugh.

Not this thread again.

Every time it just becomes some stupid thread where everybody seems to think people care about what music they like before devolving into 3 people arguing about some crappy rap music for like ten pages

    • from my perspective, I call looking at quarterbacks starts when talking about him....and someone calling that manipulating the data, a wild take though.   Think it's the most accurate way to view what you get out of a QB when his team and the opposing team both have game planned w/ that QB in mind and you have the full game.  All these random bits of games distort the statistics IMO.  What does saying Shough is playing surprisingly well mean? Literally nothing outside of our next opponent has a rookie playing surprisingly well (and it's enough we can't dismiss that after a very surprising first game vs us).    and it's not a favor done just for him.  I've always taken out the random games form dudes when talking about them when the sample size is small.  I mean, ask PJ Walker to come in a blowout or start a game and IMO you get 2 very different things out of PJ Walker.   If you are playing against him next week, it's probably best to acknowledge the variant that starts vs inserted late.
    • i think this game will have a more balanced attack.  yes, establish the run, but don't be afraid to spread them out early if they stack 8 in the box.
    • Wins losses aren't really on him.  They are what 1-6, 1-7 in games he didn't play.  Again looking at just stats without context is not always the best indicator.  He did what was needed to beat the Bucs last week including a final drive to run out the clock, he picked us apart and he played well against Miami.  The ATL game was pretty bad but overall he has played well these last 4/5 games.  If you are wanting to look at wins they are 2-2 over their last 4 after a 1-8 start.
