Realistically who will be there at pick 44?

I keep seeing guys mocked and see us bringing in people but quite frankly how may will be there at 44.? Will J hunter,Larry Warford ,D Hopkins,Eric Reid, Barrett Jones. David Amerson, Matt Elam. ,Robert Woods,Johnathan jenkins be there? Anyone else? Who is the BPA out of all of them?

We need to hit on the 44th pick but who will it be? Am i correct in saying we have had meetings with Elam and Hunter?

That is really hard to say.

Players will slide out of the first round, which will change the entire dynamic of the.second round.

and that is why i love the draft some teams will reach causing shifts in teams drafting arrangements which then results in frantic trading and swapping

depends on who we draft in the 1st as to whom we may draft in the 2nd

Of course it does but i was hoping i could see who may be there and who could be an upgrade to our current roster because I believe we are counting on our 2nd pick to be a starter. Example I see an OG,NTand safety that would add immediate starters.

A lot of those could quite realistically be available at #44. I'm thinking Hunter, Hopkins and Warford are the most likely of that group to be gone. They also happen to be the 3 I'm most interested in at #44, assuming we go DT at #14.

I'm not sure about Elam, but I'm pretty sure we were just present at Hunter's pro day, checking him and Patterson out.

Yea I think at least Hopkins will be gone....I am pretty sure we spoke to Elam. I am not sure how interested we will be in the second wave of receivers unless we want to supplant Lefell for some reason.I am inclined to think we would be looking at either a OG,OT,SS,NT,or CB with the second.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
