MAYOCK'S mock: Disappointing

But whos to say that he cant improve his technique in the pro?

Last time I checked, all these DTs in this draft have short arms. If Im right, Floyd's are shorter than Sheldon. His talents alone is worth a top 10 pick. If he improve his technique, you got the player of the draft.

Star was never known for his pass rushing ability and at NT, I care less about how well he gets after the QB. Sheldon and Floyd whom are suppose to be better interior rusher than Star had less sacks than him last season. And I dont care about Sheldon and Floyd being in the SEC "tougher conference" crap.

I'm just telling why he's falling so far, if he worked out with the Panther's and Rivera thinks he's a football guy he'll be the pick if he's there. If they don't think he's a football guy, then he won't be the pick and he'll slide into the high teens.

His technique can improve, it's just a question of why didn't it improve that much while he was at Utah. Why did he have the major weight issue while playing in JC.

Is he a football guy, meaning do you live, breath and sleep football.

IMO, Mayock is the only draft expert who knows what he's talking about. The rest are just idiots. But this, its pretty bad.

Actually Jason Boris and Robby Esch have the best mock records over the past 5 years.

But again, NOBODY every has ever gotten a 1st round correct.

BTW, Mayock had the #80 ranked mock in 2012.

I don't believe Mayock has ever been employed in an actual scouting position in his life. As far as I am concerned his opinion means equally as little as Kipers. It means nothing.

If I am not mistaken, he was made offers by two NFL teams

gosslein is the man, but he isn't doing one this year.

      generally speaking, going by the original NFL international marketing rights announcement... we would expect to host a Germany home game once every four years.  Doesn't mean we would play internationally only then, just the guarantee home game situation things might have changed since then, if they figure out how to play at more stadiums during a season to expand the number of "home" teams available

      Munich won't happen. It's a Lions home game in Munich, but we play the Lions at home at BOA Most likely to happen would be Madrid vs the Falcons (although KC has been pushing hard for this one). From a schedule perspective, it would be interesting to have an early November Madrid game (then the bye week), then close out the season at BOA for the 2nd game vs the falcons.  In other words, put the two division games in the 2nd half of the season Paris vs the Saints has long been rumored to be the Browns (but... never say never) We wouldn't play Munich, Melbourne, Mexico City, London, or Rio based on who those announced home teams happen to be

      Moton's knees were an issue before last season. He will be 32 before the season starts and gets 14.2M in '26 and 21.5M for '27 (not guaranteed). LT Icky and Rasheed Walker are signed through '26 and Freeling through '30 (option); LG Lewis signed through '28, C Fortner through '26 and Hecht through '29; RG Hunt through '28, RG Moton through '27.  They did a good job shoring up that oline.  We can have a starting oline of: LT Freeiling, LG Lewis, C Hecht, RG Hunt, and RT Moton pretty much locked up through the '27 season (will just take a Moton option to do). That's good because we need to be ready to pull the trigger with next year's QB class.
