Damn Charlotte pisses me off

I saw a guy with a Falcons hat on in an Asheville restaurant the other day.  Is it weird my first instincts were to punch him in the face?

I feel the same way but my first instinct is to punch them in the throat and watch them frantically search for both answers and air.  :)

yeah the first generation of panthers fans(kids that grew up watching the panthers and no other team) are just now getting to the age of having kids themselves, it takes 2/3 generations to build the following that the cowboys, steelers and Redskins have.

I was listening to 610 this morning from 7:15a-8:30a on the drive into work and I only heard one caller say "I'm not a Panther fan but..." and he was the only one I heard that was negative about Cam and it wasn't that bad. Another caller who mentioned he was a 49er fan due to Mac bringing up how Kaepernick was praised for the same things Cam is hated on because winning makes everything ok was vehemently defending Cam.

Mac was asking people what they thought the reasoning for the hate for Cam from some of the media and some of the fans. People were saying what they thought it might be but no one was hating on Cam in fact they were all defending him from what I heard. I may have missed one or two but to say EVERY caller was hating and was from another fanbase just isn't true at all or we must have been listening to two different radio stations with the same topic.

There is unwarranted hate for Cam from some of the media and a very small portion of the fanbase but there are many more people that are just way too sensitive if anything is said about Cam that isn't high praise.

But I should probably STFU because I am not a Panther fan. :)

3 of the 4/5 callers that were on when I was in the car stated "I'm not a Panther fan." Then you know what, keep your damn opinions about the Panthers to yourself. I was listening from 7:15 to about 8:15 and I heard the 9er fan defending Cam. You just don't hear that in other markets it seems. I travel extensively and listen to local talk when I'm in the road. Charlotte has a strange dynamic to it.

Yeah I listened till about 830 and didn't hear what SCP was referring to from every caller hating on Cam.

Here's someone who hasn't watched Luck play beyond highlights. Luck wasn't even the best rookie this year, or the second best. If he stays on his present course the only hall he's destined for is the beer hall.

2011 after cam passes for 4051 yards with 60% completion and 17 INTs on 517 attempts for an 84.5 passer rating: "cam really needs to cut down on the picks.  also the 4000 yards is a mirage because they were having him sling it so much.  if he ever wants to be more than a flash in the pan, there are a ton of things he needs to work on.  also he needs to learn how to win games."
