Thank you for the pictures and update Zod - great stuff - Cant wait to see what is in store for the upcoming season - our new linebacker looks like hes already up to playing weight  - ready to see what he can bring to the team.

I know he wore the same one in college but that is a pretty interesting face mask choice/preference for Star. Looks more like something a skill position player would wear but he must like the visibility it provides. I'd love to see him throw a visor on so he doesn't get any fingers to the face during the season and he would look even more like a monster.

Yea I don't think Lester is some phenomenal player like some people are making him out to be. He looked really, really bad in some games. Some of it, I think is coachable. He takes bad angles and like Promethean said isn't great in man coverage. He is a ball hawk, seems to be a play-maker though. I hope he makes the team.

Just trust the dreads man

Dwan has a similar facemask, it's not that big of a deal.

Hey Zod was brandon Williams and if he was how did he look on the field? Rivera said its been a bit "overwhelming" for him but considering his situation that's not surprising. Just want to know if you noticed him at all. (And thanks for all your work)

He said no one stood out to him, but then again coaches were likely analyzing other things that us fans don't notice. Only Rivera and Gettleman truly know how they feel about him at this point.

Yeah. That is certainly true but sometimes the naked eye doesn't lie. I was critical of Nortman last off season and said NicK Harris looked better. We went with Nortman and it cost us a game.

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
