Here we go, lets get this going.

My Fearless Predictions...

- Garry holds up pretty well and eases some fears about his play.

- Cam doesn't get a touchdown

- Derek Anderson gets a TD pass to Armanti.

- Kenjon looks impressive

- Armond Smith takes a short pass to the house in the 4th quarter

- Star doesn't look so great forcing a huddle implosion.

I am going to come out and say that we do not win this game.  I feel there is a SIGNIFICANT drop off in talent between some of our starters and their back-ups.  In a game that  will mostly feature Chandler at LT, I don't see us being very productive.

Sadly, most of the huddle will freak out about this....... The one game that really does not matter at all

my prediction: 30-13 win

.. and the talk begins about how much talent we have and how great Cam is .. then the bandwagoners start predicting us to win 10-11 games .. even though the starters only played 1-2 series ..

but then again .. I predicted I was going to win powerball last night also

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
