No!

Norman got a Int the first offense play of the game for the Bears on a QB (Cutler) who is also questioned about his play. Plus Norman Pick 6 happened in the 3rd with a lot of 2nd string players in the game.

Still it doesn't change the comment that the "Panthers made a Comeback to win" when we lead the whole game.

Okay...

But if you are just going to show one highlight for the game.....you show the Bears INT.

Our INT came in the 4th.....involved a lot of guys who won't play in the NFL. Bear INT deserved to be the one highlight if you just show one

???? did you watch the game?

cutler's first pass was picked off by norman.

the bears defense did, but the pick 6 was the lone bright spot of the bears first team D. our first team offense scored on them. the panthers defense pretty much dominated the bears offense the whole game.

Why??

They lost the game. They were down most of the game. And it's pretty much seen by their own local media. As a poor start for them. Their 1st team offense never crossed the 50.

Why should that be the highlight of the game?

It does to Rivera.

He's told the team he always wants to win, even in meaningless preseason games.

For whatever you think of Rivera's coaching, I like that attitude.

winning is a nice bonus....

To many things in preseason are placed ahead of it....he wants to win pending he accomplishes all the other things get done before that. It isn't given the same priority

Are you guys god damn serious

you don't understand why they would show Cam's pick?

lets consider a few things

1.The QB. Cam is a QB on an up and coming team with a lot to prove. All eyes are on him. Cutler may be in a contract year, but people know what to expect from him anyway.

2. The Defender- John Norman is a second year starter out of CCU. Wasn't hyped in college. hasn't played well enough to get hyped up in the NFL. Jon Bostic is a ROOKIE out of UF who was drafted SPECIFICALLY to replace Bears legend and potential Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher. So again, all eyes are Bostic, whereas no eyes are on Norman (and deservingly so)

3. The Play- This is simple enough. 11 yard INT return by Norman. FIFTY-ONE yard PICK SIX by Bostic

4. The Game- It's preseason. No one cares who won the game in preseason. It's all about the individual performances. In the regular season, both picks probably would be shown, but this is the Preseason so the 51 yard pick 6 by Brian urlachers sucessor is going to get the attention.

you guys are so deluded with this us-againt-the-world attitude

I wonder if the negative media coverage of Cam and the Panthers actually has an effect on the average football fan?

*Meanwhile somewhere in the suburbs of Chicago*

"Just watching $cam Newton throw another pick-6 honey, the South Carolina Panthers suck"

"Did we win?"

"Had the lead the whole way, then their scrubs clawed their way back into the game after our starters were on the bench."
