I see a sloppy 9-7 season. And this is how it plays out...

Overall I think this Panthers team this season will be a mix between the first pre season game, and the game against the Eagles. I get this gut feeling this is going to be a very bi polar season for us. I think one Sunday we will be calling for Rivera's head gladiator style in the middle of BOFA stadium, and the next Sunday we will be calling him one of the greatest coaching minds. Here is how I see our season in a nutshell.

Loss to the Bills and Hawks, but a suprising win against the Giants. 1-2 at the bye. It is here everyone will be placing bets on if Rivera will be fired mid season or if Gettleman will wait until the season is over. We then come back from the bye beating the Cards, Vikes and Rams.. 4-2 heading into week 7. This is the "Rivera is Bellicheck 2.0!!" Talks happen and the talks of Rivera being fired will be history.

Next up the Bucs, Falcons and 9ers. We lose all three. Record at 4-5, its deja vu all over again and fans start a betting pool on who our next HC will be. We then get spanked by the Patriots and our record stands at 4-6. This is the part the Cowher drum beaters come out and bang their fist for Cowher to be our next HC.

But wait. We spank the Dolphins, get revenge on the Bucs and suddenly we are at 6-5. Spirits are high again in Panther land.. Atleast until next Sunday when we lose to the Saints and we are right back at 6-6. We use the Jets at home the following week as our punching bag and come away with a easy victory. 7-6 and still in the hunt. We then go on and beat the Saints in Charlotte and a resting Falcons team that has yet again won the NFC south. Record stands at a very sloppy but yet still a winning record of 9-7. If this will be good enough for a playoff berth remains to be seen. But knowing our nickname "the cardiac cats" this is exactly how I see our season playing out.

I am ashamed to be a fan of this team sometimes. Not because of the players or coaches but because of most of you so called fans. 2 weeks into the preseason and its already over for most of you. This is my epiphany, and Zod you should probably take note cuz I bet I'm not the only one, I'm done with this board until the season starts. I can't take this poo any more.

See ya week one.

I rebuke your curse and in place will speak blessings on this team as I have since the beginning of training camp. May we stay healthy and strong and very much the talk of the League due to numerous wins this year!
