I think they were trying to give Jimmy some run so that a team might want to trade for him. I'm not saying that we get anything crazy for him, but a OL man or a low draft pick could be obtainable.  I think we go with 2 QBs and those will be Cam and DA.

Agreed.  I only got to go to 2 camps and then FF, but Jimmy looked better than DA on those occasions no doubt.

 

I am now living in Bizarro World where I am actually pulling for 2 Panthers that I have unashamedly bashed without mercy.

Why do Cam's inaccuracies in the preseason get shrugged off but Derek Anderson's inaccuracies warrant him being cut in favor of Clausen? I know people say Cam always stinks in the preseason but does Derek usually kill it in preseason or something? I don't think he all-of-a-sudden became a terrible quarterback...I think we know what we have in him and that's a pretty solid back-up QB. Not many teams can say they have a (at one point) Pro Bowl QB as their back-up.

Nobody is clamoring for Jimmy Clausen. We're clamoring to get rid of the underperforming dead weight on this team at every position, and at the QB position, Anderson has performed the worst this offseason.
