Ginn

I said this when we signed him, this might be the time Ginn finally lives up to Top-10 pick billing, Smith is the perfect person to mentor him.  On the Dolphins he was expected to immediately be the #1 receiver, on the 49ers he had no real vets to look up to, especially not ones with a similar skill set like him and Smith have.

honestly there is a part of me that is saying that 49ers and Dolphins fans have been saying this about Ginn. I'm not sure if he has ever performed this well in preseason before, but I'm still tentative before i can be confident in this guy. I obviously will hope for the best.

I know alot of Dolphins fans and most thought he'd be a good player if it weren't for his hands. I know I know as a receiver thats kind of the most important thing.  While he's here though he's not going to be put in as a "stud" receiver.  He isn't going to be asked to make the kind of catches smith, AJ green, larry fitz, etc make on a regular basis.

If he's able to catch the ball in stride when he's open, thats all we really need out of him.

Have you ever seen a patriots game?? The man can eat a sandwich if he needs to. You breathe on him and your getting flagged he's well protected.

^this.

Gotta remember Bilicheck originally built that team around the most statuesque quarterback of all time, Drew Bledsoe.  He's a firm believer in the pocket passer and protecting the quarterback.  Notice how often he goes through skill position players, he constantly dumps receivers, runningbacks and tight ends but you hardly hear about good Patriots linemen hitting the open market.

Ginn his limitations.....he is a role player.

He's been limited to a role player. His own fault and problem. I'll let him decide if he can finally be more than simply that. I like where this might be going. No promises or expectations. I thought he was just going to be a ST ace.
