How much have we improved from 2012?

OLB:  Somewhat Better.  Davis has shaken the rust off, while Beason begins the process, but Davis and Beason are tremendous football players.  Beason may take some time to surpass Anderson's production because he is learning and getting back into football shape, but do not discount the fact that beason makes others better.  The improvement lies in the addition of Chase Blackburn and AJ Klein.

Good overall analysis. Nice job.

As to the part above discussing OLB, I think we all need to be mentally prepared to see a different Jon Beason. Don't be surprised if he plays a relatively minor role in the LB rotation, and he may never be the guy we remember from several years ago. He has had so little work this preseason, and my instincts tell me it's not just because they are trying to save him for when it counts.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but he has had some very difficult injuries for any professional athlete.

Step 1 - run up the middle every play

Step 2 - celebrate beating the panthers

Remeber that Lions game two years ago that RB Lions literally just signed from their practice squad the prior week ran over 200 yds on us and like two TDs? I dont even rememher his name, Chris something I think. Dark days indeed

    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
    • Hoping someone tells us Bussi was in the starter's crease for the morning skate. Otherwise, place your 1st shot- 1st goal bets! Any closer to a deal that could land a 2C in Trocheck or Brayden Schenn? Or land a winger in Alex Tuch or reach for Jordan Kyrou?
