Panthers add LB Jacobs

Next man up seems to be working pretty well for us this year. We are surprisingly deep this season, which is a SHOCKER considering what we all thought we had coming into the season.

I like the Jacobs move. If it ain't broke, then don't fix it.

This is really a false flag operation being perpetrated by the Panther organization to distract everyone from the fact that Jonathon Stewart is being shopped. In related news, I've discovered that Stewart is not injured and that this was also a planned distraction to avert everyone's attention from the Beason trade.

I too saw Jacobs and was thinking Giants.  I hope that Ben can maximize his potential and be an asset to the team. Maybe Gettleman has a little country in him since he likes to keep it in the family and all.  Badum tish!

I thought Jacobs sucked donkey balls in preseason. Here's to hoping he drastically improved since then.

I don't remember anything about him and honestly don't remember him. I hope that he can be solid backup.

I find it humorous that some people applaud it as a good move, while others see it as completely insignificant.

 

The reality is, most of us have either never seen him play, or if we did, we quickly forgot who he was. I'm thinking maybe he was the guy that had a punt hit him in the preseason, but am in no way sure of that. 

 

Bottom line is we just have to wait and see what he brings. It's way too early to make a qualitative decision on what he offers.
