Incarcerated Bob on Cowher

I don't know much about this guy, but started following him on twitter. He claims to have the inside scoop on a lot of sports info. Some people seem to swear by him, but others say he's a fraud and attention *****. He said that Bill Cowher is indeed planning on coaching next year if the fit is right. According to this guy Cowher's dream job is the Giants (if available). However, if it's not he said he'd be interested in Carolina or Tampa Bay.

I'm not a fan of hiring any of the retreads (Cowher, Gruden, or Smith) but at this point I'd toke anyone over Rivera. He didn't specifically say that the Panthers had contacted Cowher, but if he's talking and the team had spoken to him, he could be the coach that they initiated a background check on (what's involved in a background check on Bill Cowher anyway?) Anyone know anything about Incarcerated Bob? Is he legit at all?

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
