If we do go the D coordinator route, I atleast hope its Rob Ryan.

Ive always liked Rob Ryan and he just always struck me as someone that would make a good leader and HC. Honestly, I cant really point to anything in particular, I wished we hired him back before we hired Rivera. He just seems to have that "it" factor to be a good HC.

I think we could hire him as our HC and our D wont lose a step and at the same time stealing him from the Saints would be a bonus.

Again, my top two choices wouod be Lovie or Greg Roman, but if Gettleman chooses the status quo and goes D coordinator, I would hope its Rob Ryan. What say ye?

When you have a talent like Cam Newton (yes he's a talent), you should give him help.

Another DC turned HC won't do that, see John Fox.

We've only had 6 offensive picks out of 20 after drafting Cam.

We've got the QB, it's time to unleash the O in Carolina.

Ok explain why this wouod be a bad hire? Am I missing something? He turned around a abysmal Saints D in just one season. I would say hes as good as a D coordinator as Chud was a good OC and Chud is doing just fine in Cleveland. Remember how we all laughed at Cleveland for hiring Chud and now he has the Browns number 1 in the division. Its not far fetched, JR showed interest in him in 2011. I just have a gut feeling Ryan has good HC and leadership qualities.

I bet those of you laughing at this notion also laughed at Cleveland for hiring Chud as HC.
