On the Chris Long Ejection

1. Throw a punch- get ejected... unless you're Harvey Dahl, who clearly threw a punch and was not bounced later in the game.

2. When you get ejected, keep your helmet on, head down and trot to your tunnel, ignoring all taunts and objects along the way.

3. Kind of relevant, Mitchell did stand on the St. Louis sideline after pushing Bradford OB and do his WWE thing, which is why Dahl went berserk.

For the fans:

1. Taunt and shout and call him every name you want- DO NOT THROW POO

2. Everyone should know the entire fanbase will be labeled as classless or 'stupid' just as the entire Houston fanbase was called out then Matt Schaub went down last week when the fans began cheering.

3. Most fans in attendance were far more distracted with the fugging t-shirt throwing crew and didn't even notice Bradford was injured.

If Long doesn't sucker punch one of our players he doesn't get ejected.

If Long isn't ejected he wouldn't have been escorted to the locker room.

If Long isn't escorted to the locker room he wouldn't have had the chance to curse and make obscene gestures towards our fans.

If Long doesn't curse at our fans then the bottles don't get thrown at him.

Long gets a few bottles thrown at him and IS the victim here guys, c'mon!  He did nothing to provoke all of this.  It is our classless, and in the words of a certain MENSA member, "stupid" fans fault that all of this happened.   :cam1:

Once again, wisdom from Zod.

Hey Long ... you were not a factor in the game and your team lost.  Deal with it.  You ran your mouth and guess what, you got hit with a water bottle.  Boo hoo.  Was it wrong, yes. However, next time, shut your mouth and get the fug off our field.

The video of him walking off with one of his team manager buddies is hilarious.  They both throw their arms up asking for a penalty after the first bottle was thrown.  Hahahahaha.  Oh, and if anyone hasn't seen it yet, here's the video of him getting bonked by the water bottle:

Interesting it doesnt even look like a full sized one. Its looks child sized or something.

and it appeared to be lobbed from 5 feet away not heaved from the upper decks.

Hey.    Throw a punch and get ejected at OUR stadium...........the enemy player better be prepared for things being thrown at his head in a really weak and inaccurate fashion.     That's just how badazz we are.

Throw a punch- get ejected.

Walking off the field you run your mouth and get into it with the fans.

At this point, Chris Long is looking like the the moron... until someone throws something, then it's the entire fanbase who are the morons. The fans who decided to lower themselves to the same level as Long at the time of his ejection basically categorized the entire Panther fanbase as 'stupid.'

    • This play was never designed to go to either DJ or Odunze. The primary read is Burden who is stymied early, with the outlet being Kmet if Caleb doesn't like the option for Burden. Given the situation it's pretty obvious the simple play is to take the free yards with Kmet, or if you want to be aggressive just wait a beat longer for Burden to uncover on his double move. If Moore was ever going to be a viable target in this play then Caleb should have started out reading Odunze to hold the safety in the middle and then coming to Moore, but because he started the snap staring down the right and then came back to the middle late it made it where the safety's leverage remained to the outside of Moore, so he would never have imagined that pass actually being thrown to him in that situation. Realistically DJ's best option in that context is to just occupy the safety to leave a hole open for Caleb to get it to Burden, which is probably why he throttles down vs carrying the safety across.
    • Even with Sonny Styles still on the board I thought it's a no brainer to address the Oline after Icky's injury.  And how can you pass up Fano at 19 given our situation. Then the rest of the draft just kind of made sense with maybe the exception of Klubnik.  But if Canales can fix him and Young goes down. . .I think it's a solid pick. What do you think of this draft?
