Good interview on Ron's part.  He seemed relaxed but focused.  Well spoken. Interesting how much they involve Cam in game planning.

 

Ron is a very likable guy. Hope we like him at the end of the year.

I can see Why players like him. I really hope a corner has been turned and wins start piling up.

He has struggled as a head coach, but he might be the best defensive coach in the game. If we don't make the playoffs and replace him, the defense takes a step back.

I will admit there have been times when he's called (or failed to call) plays that have made me pop a blood vessel. Having said that, I can't help rooting for him to do well and keep his job. Because if he does, that means the team is winning, the players are happy, Big Cat is satisfied, and all is right in my little piece of the universe. I like Ron. I hope he continues to play aggressive. I hope the team continues to respond, and that RR is able - by deserving it - to keep his job.

I do not believe Rivera was ready to be a head coach when we hired him. He was raw, stubborn, and inexperienced.

Having said that, I really, really want him to keep making the strides he has. The team is in the best position it has been in years, and he deserves a TON of credit. There are times he has let us down, even this year, but ever since the Buffalo game he has been coaching his ass off. I can only hope this continues. What he and his staff have done with the defense is incredible.

I've always liked him off the field but he still has to prove himself with a full season of consistent aggressiveness.
