Yes please. I would also take Blackmon over Gordon, but both are PROVEN playmakers. The Patriots got Randy Moss for a 4th rounder, Blackmon and Gordon are younger than Moss was for that trade but simply put, reward > risk. Make it happen GMan.

On a side note, how fuging awful is the Jaguars front office?

 

I get wanting to burn the poo down and start over, but you don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water. Blackmon is one of the only players worth a poo on that entire team.

you guys are nuckingfutz.  The guys had 2 DUI's and then suspended for violating the NFLs substance abuse policy.  If it looks like a train wreck, it probably is. he may be a good WR but what good is that if hes in the Betty Ford clinic and not on the field

I would be happy with nicks blackmon or gordon. So many top teir wrs on the market. Any of these guys would make us a contender,gman has been signing projects left and right he oviously sees the need at wr. Riverboat ron would roll the dice. Imagine being able to us our first not on a wr but, on a lineman or on the texas tech te.

Nothing but speculation anyway.  I don't think the Jags are dumb enough to trade the only player on their roster worth keeping.

 

The entire rumor came from former Chiefs GM and Pats VP of player personnel Scott Pioli, who on a TV show said Blackmon "could be moved".

 

It's all speculation with no reason to believe the Jags are shopping him.

      Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!

      Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
