Buc Fans Accept Sheridans Invitation. LOL

Last week, Bucs defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan, amid a non-controversy of how the Bucs were misusing (?) All-World cornerback Darrelle Revis, partly in jest, invited Bucs fans to show up at 5:20 a.m. at One Buc Palace. These fans could have all the free Cokes they desired, Sheridan said, and spend all day and much of the night helping him and his charges to come up with proper game plans for opponents.

Well, the fans did take Sheridan up on his offer, but they were rebuffed at the gates of One Buc Palace on Monday morning.

Sheridan was asked today if fans tried to accept his invitation, and he simply said, with a grin on his face, “Yes… yes.”

Sheridan confessed fans were waiting when he drove into the facility but he did not speak with any of them (“Nope.”). Said fans were not granted access to One Buc Palace.

Seriously.

Didn't somebody from the front office come out and insult their fan base last week too? Jeez, Tampa. Show your fans some common decency.

Its no wonder they are blacked out most games. Fans are stupid to support them. I see LA bucs in the future.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
