did having Stewart mess up the offense

We should have used Stewart more. Shula definitely went half retard today (not full, thankfully) with the play calling. Cam obviously was having an off day and he continued to call pass after pass against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

that's because atlanta is also one of the worst pass defenses in the league too.

it would have been more obvious if newton wasn't missing wide open targets.

Oh contraire, I thought Stewy brought some physicality to the group. Tolbert looked meaner, and even DWill looked more decisive.

These guys give great effort, and get extra yards for this Offense. Because these guys know they can go hard, and get plenty of rest to attack again the next time they get the chance.

These guys make a great group. They pull for each other, and there are no ego's to get in the way. They push each other to get better, and all can be, and are productive.

As long as the group as a whole is successful, I don't think any one of them begrudge the other getting touches. And they seem to be effective without needing a large workload to get in rhythm.

Expensive sure. But still a top group. Enjoy it while it last.

All of our RBs played well today. Maybe there is nothing to it but it feels like Cam throws better screens to Deangelo than Stew. Stew is always breaking his momentum with acrobatic grabs. Deangelo looks smooth this year.

Cam and Williams also don't complete as many dump offs bc Williams doesn't handle the poor throws as well as Stewart.

No........Cam throwing sky balls and being inconsistent is what killed momentum on some drives. if you notice when we started running the ball in the second qtr,we found our stride.

Yep, Jmac is right.  It wasn't one of Cams best days, especially on the long balls.  Shula also didn't have many designed runs for Cam.

All the RBs played great, especially Stew.  It was good to see him and Dwan back in action.

No, J Stew ran hard.  Shula going herp derp on 3rd and short and Cam not having a good game messed with our offense.  Shula should've adapted to Cam having an off day and just punished that ATL D with our running game a lot earlier.

This times 1,000.  I have no idea what was happening with those third and 1 or third and two bombs.  Cam can pick up a yard falling down.
