Panthers need to take a good long look at the Colts/49ers game because that was basically the blueprint to beating them. Also, Cam can't go acting like a hero and forcing throws. Two interceptions against a team like the Niners and we lose. Cam just needs to manage the game this time

home team gets a automatic 3 points inVegas odds, basically if we played here it would be near even money, and a 3 point advantage for the 49'ers if played somewhere neutral.

I don't think we match up well against the 49ers.  Colin K is a mobile QB who can evade the pass rush (which let's face it didn't look great against the Falcons and got 1 sack when we all expected them to get 4 or 5).  They have a powerful and experienced running back in Gore who gets better as the game goes on.  They have a decent O-line and a solid opportunistic D.

 

They are the best team we will have faced this season so far (since week 1).  We are traveling through 3 time zones to a stadium we haven't played in in years.

 

We do pretty well against the run, but that is against teams that usually have to abandon the run in the second half because they are down by 15 points.  SF will likely not be in that position and will pound the rock for 4 quarters.  They have a great TE who can help them in possession and can be dynamic down the field.  If we miss tackles, V. Davis will eat us alive.

 

I don't see this game shaping up as a win.  I wouldn't put a dime on any Panthers game because that is some serious bad juju.  But for those out there saying we win the match-ups in this game...I don't see it and I don't think we will keep this game within a touchdown.  Sorry.

Aldon Smith would be sitting in jail for pretrial if he had hit someone. The situation alone should get him suspended. Early morning drunk driving on a week day, he easily could've hit a group of kids or anyone else for that matter. Second DUI in a year. Then there's felony gun charges. Justin Blackmon suspended? Check. Richie incognito? Check. Michael Vick? Check. Plaxico Burress? Check.

I don't like being the guy saying this scares me, or that scares me, but Frank Gore scares me.  This guy just keeps on coming and coming.  It might be 3-4 yard gains through the first 45 minute of the game but in those last 15 minutes those 3-4 yard runs become 15-20 yard runs.  We haven't faced anything like that yet.

Please explain how they are a better team all around? I think the better team will win next Sunday. I am a homer but the FACT is they are not a better team. These two teams are pretty mucy equal with the exception of us having more individual talent. I say this is the game where we finally find those explosive plays. Hardy and Johnson will be embarrassed after yesterdays lack of pressure and they always redeem well

Im sorry but as much as I believe in this team and I do still think we go 10-6. The 49ers will rape us. Our pass rush has been disappointing, they have WAY too many weapons. Boldin, Manningham, Gore, Davis, Crabtree. This is a mobile QB which we struggle mightly with. Good D from the line to the safety. I predict a score of something like 24-7 9ers. Trust me, I try hard as hell to make a case on how we win and I just cant. I cant think of one facet we have the edge.

It's funny how people are scared of San Fran when we were a lost fumble away from beating the team that is in first place in San Fran's division.

We will go in there and beat them. I can feel in in my bones. They have that 2008 feel.

We went 5-3 leaving about 2 wins on the feild. I definatly think we will go at least 5-3 again. That puts us at 10-6.

Crabtree won't even be playing, and Manningham is a JAG. Boldin, Davis, Gore and James are the guys we should worry about. Kaep hasn't been playing as well this year either. I'm not saying we're going to win, but we're definitely not getting blown out....

 

Oh and we definitely have the edge in QB, and I'm a huge Kaep fan....
