2. Accomplishments before arriving to the NFL are meaningless, you don't get to this level without making yourself look good at the lower levels. Why do you think Nick Saban ended up in the NFL (and promptly hightailed it back to the college level when his Schiano-esque shtick got old?)

Look at the resume of any NFL head coach. They'll all make it seem like they were destined for greatness. You don't get to this level by being average (unless your name is Greg Schiano.)
