Bold Predictions for Panthers vs. 49ers

This is the biggest game we've played since - dare I say it - the Cardinals playoff game in the 2008 season playoffs? Some crazy poo is probably going to go down. It'll probably be a national spectacle and ESPN will be falling all over themselves to talk about the game. So what extraordinary event will unfold before our eyes Sunday? What sights will befall us? What are your bold predictions?

I'll start. Cam throws for 4 touchdowns for the first time in his career (and runs for one too.)

If this happened, ESPN, Mike Mayock, Skip Bayless, etc's heads would explode....

Ok, I'll play. 9ers only TD comes late making the final 34-13 Panthers.

Our mantra is, next game up. We are dialed in, and ready to go. Play our brand of football, and we should win.

We have twice as many rushing yards.

We have nearly twice as many passing yards.

I guess that means we win. I can live with that.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
