Regardless, this is the NFL, not the FBS. Those wins count and they're hard to come by.

Look, he still has some things to prove, but tell me how often we have won five-games in a row before?

 

Oh for sure they count, and I enjoyed them.  However, this doesn't make this season a success.  It's still playoffs or bust.

He's still not a great coach, but he's at least not getting in the way of the talent on the field.

I was never a fire Rivera guy. It was Shula that I didn't believe in after the first few games this season, and I was even getting a little skeptical about Cam's decision making early on last year. But patience is most definitely a virtue when it comes to player and team building, particularly when you have people in never experienced positions. I am glad that all involved are showing their improvement. Plus, like I said in another thread, dumb luck has turned in our favor.  I always thought that Rivera was a good coach, but was afraid that he'd never get to show it due to inexperience, bad breaks and not being in an optimum situation. Luckily for us, the result of hard work, belief, and luck has turned fate in our favor at the perfect time.

Wow (some of the post are cray cray!)... I gave up when we were 1-3. I thought "here we go again?", we just beat the damn 49whiners! We are 6-3 and have a killer defense!
