Who to root for, Week 11.

Awesomeness!!

You guys are talking like a team hoping to squeeze into the playoffs with a 6 seed. Because of head-to-head, it's going to be very very tough to get home-field advantage and the #1 seed over Seattle, but I'm confident we're going to win enough games regardless of what anyone else does that we'll get that #2 seed.

I understand the logic of your Saints-Niners pick, but I think it is flawed.

Let's look at the three remaining schedules:

Carolina: New England,  at Miami, Tampa, at New Orleans, NYJ, New Orleans, at Atlanta

New Orleans:  San Fran, at Atlanta, at Seattle, Carolina, at St. Louis, at Carolina, Tampa Bay

San Fran:  New Orleans, at Washington, St. Louis, Seattle, at Tampa, Atlanta, at Arizona

Just by looking at those schedules you can see why a San Fran win in the dome is huge for Carolina.  We all know the Saints are damn near unbeatable with Payton and Brees in that dome, but look how they finish the year.  Four of thier last six are on the road:  one against us, one against thier division rival Atlanta who will play them tough, at Seattle on a Monday night (beast mode anyone), and at St. Louis (which if i'm not mistaken they have lost in that building within the last couple years).

The real truth about Sunday is that it's a no lose for Carolina (due to the fact that we get two shots at New Orleans).  A loss by San Fran pushes them farther down the Wild Card totem poll with a tough monday night game in Washington and then three of the remaining five against division opponents (we all know how divisional games can go).

A saints loss puts us .5 game out heading into our Monday night game agasint the Pats.

Pull for whoever you want in this game, but for me it's a no brainer.  I will be pulling hard for the Niners to increase our chances at hosting the track meet saints in January in our building.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
