Outside of the drops the problem isn't Smith, it's Cam. It's a good "problem" for the team, but not do much for Steve. However, Smitty is a team first guy.

Factoring in his drops last week on third down, you can assume he would've had 22 more yards. You can also assumes those drive continue and he gets targeted at least three times. I'd say he could've had 100 last week if not for the drops.

You don't lose your ability to catch passes as you age. The dropped passes is just a minor concentration issue. Cam spreading the ball around is the reason Smith doesn't have a lot of yards this season.
